When I first started SORROWBACON, I couldn’t find any resources online that gave me insight on how webcomics were made, so when I finally made my own webcomic, I promised myself that I would document my process so that others can benefit in some way.
The winning entry to the contest is by Spuddyhell! Congratulations!
I really love the use of pencils, the cool style of the characters and the cool little LOTR reference. (From this page)
Tomorrow I’ll post a couple of runner-ups, as I had some really cool entries to the contest! Don’t worry if you missed out this time, I might do another contest if people are interested after Chapter 8 (Which starts the day after tomorrow!!!)
I’ve had a couple of entries for the contest so far, but there’s still plenty of time to enter (about a week!), and I would absolutely love to see some more of your art, followers and friends!
Recreate any panel or page of Stories of Adventures in any style you like!
Re: The post I made a while ago about lengthening the chapters
I realise many of you probably won’t care too much, but the original plan of having chapter 8 be 30 pages long is going to have to go! I’m currently about two thirds of the way through that 30 pages, and not even halfway through the events of the chapter yet, so looks like I’m going to have to extend it again! I won’t set a page number this time, as I just want to let the chapter be as long as it needs to be. I’m estimating between 45 and 50 pages right now. So no worries, you’re only getting more Stories of Adventures! Just wanted to keep you guys in the know.
I’m going to keep on drawin’, look forward to seeing your contest entries!
